Here's how to figure out when the Gospel Procession takes place. No matter how many lessons (Bible readings) we have in a service, the Gospel is always the last one.
In the summer we have one lesson, a hymn, or Taize chant, and then the Gospel.
In the school year we will usually have an Old Testament Lesson, a Psalm, a New Testament Lesson, a hymn or Taize chant, and then the Gospel.
There is usually music ( a hymn or a Taize chant) right before the Gospel -- that is when you should start the Gospel Procession. Read your leaflet to see how many lessons we have, and you will easily see when to do the Gospel procession.
